We were deeply humbled when Dr. Billy Tang—Founder of PwD Smart FarmAbility and Chair of the Global HOPE Awards Circle—presented our founder, Aames Ng, with the Global HOPE Award 2025. This invitation-only accolade recognises changemakers whose work embodies the four pillars of HOPE: Humanity, Opportunity, Progress, and Equity.
What Is the Global HOPE Award?
Unlike most industry prizes, the Global HOPE Award is granted strictly by invitation and honours individuals and organisations demonstrating extraordinary commitment to:
Inclusive Leadership that elevates underserved voices
Regenerative Impact that leaves communities stronger
Social Equity that bridges opportunity gaps
Recipients are those whose efforts go beyond profit—who use technology and innovation to uplift marginalised groups, champion disability-led initiatives, and foster sustainable, long-term progress.
Dr. Tang’s Remark on Aames Ng’s Work
In his congratulatory message, Dr. Tang wrote:
“Congratulations Aames Ng!Your visionary leadership in ethical digital innovation and community empowerment through Techy Apes has truly set a new benchmark in purpose-driven technology. You’ve proven that digital tools, when guided by trust, inclusion, and integrity, can transform lives and uplift entire communities. As a recipient of the Global HOPE Award 2025, your work beautifully reflects the essence of Humanity, Opportunity, Progress, and Equity. This recognition is not just for what you’ve built—but for the future you continue to inspire.”
These words capture the driving force behind Techy Apes: using digital platforms not as ends in themselves, but as tools for community empowerment and social good.
